Camphill Foundation Canada Board of Directors

Tanis Diane Kyd – Secretary
Diane is one of the founders of Camphill Communities Ontario, and has served as a houseparent, administrator, board member and educator. She also has served as a Trustee and Vice President of the Camphill Association of North America. In addition, she served on the Grant Review Committee of the Camphill Foundation USA for five years. Diane brings 35 years of experience and commitment to the international Camphill movement to her role in the Foundation.

Julian Scarfe – Director
Julian is a marketing professional who works with clients in both the investment and executive leadership industries. He is the founder and strategic director at Fundzen, an investment marketing firm based in Toronto. He earned a BA from McGill University and did post-graduate work at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Julian joined the board of the Camphill Foundation Canada in 2018. His brother Peter has lived at Camphill's Angus site since 1989.

Kevin Rich – Vice President
Kevin Rich has worked most of his career with Ducks Unlimited Canada (a wetland conservation organization) in different capacities and is currently the Head of Industry and Government Relations for Ontario.   Kevin holds a B.Sc. in biology and a M.A.Sc. in environmental engineering.  Kevin has served as a board member of Camphill Communities Ontario and now sits on the board of Camphill Foundation Canada. His brother Mike lives in Camphill at the Angus site.

Neil Evans – President and Treasurer
Neil Evans served as Treasurer/Secretary of the Camphill Communities Ontario board for many years. He is the principal of Nevcon Accounting Services, has a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has obtained the accounting designation of CMA (Certified Management Accountant).

Terry Kirk – Investment officer
Terry kirk B.SC. is a retired environmental consultant with a degree in earth sciences. He also holds certificates in business management, fundraising and resource development. He is currently appointed by the Board to advise on how to manage CFC’s enduring capital as prudent trustees. Terry has been associated with Camphill as far back as the 1950’s and is a past president of CFC. He currently resides in Barrie in the Sophia Creek neighbourhood.
